Weldcote Pure Tungsten Electrode Welding Certification Parts Kit for PTW-20 SeriesWeldcote Pure Tungsten Electrode is designed to provide excellent arc control through a balanced wave. The electrode forms a clean, balled tip when heated and provides great arc stability for AC welding with the balanced wave. It also provides good arc stability for AC sine wave welding, especially on aluminum and magnesium, but is not typically used for DC welding (it does not provide as strong of arc starts as thoriated or ceriated electrodes).
