Aspidistra saxicola Come Here Spot Baptisia Emei (near Sichuan)This selection of the Chinese native, Aspidistra saxicola, was introduced from China by plant collector Dr. Jim Waddick. The 6" x 2" oval leaves emerge green and as the leaves mature, they become spotted yellow like a severe case of horticultural measles. Each plant makes a clump 2' wide x 8" tall. Maintenance: Aspidistra are very low maintenance perennials. Each leaf can last up to 3 years, but after the second year, it will begin to show signs of
