There are a few lighter striations on one side of the back

and date '82 to the right of signature

12" t x 5 1/4" w (including handle) x 4 1/2" d

but a nice object to hold in one's hand and almost Brancusi-esque stood on one end

I believe it is likely Arts and Crafts period

Hard to beat the sincerity of his longing gaze though, curled up with the framed photo of her on his bed almost as if she were there! (Makes one wonder who took the photo, too!) Pretty true feeling, and pretty excellent. 5" x 4". A bit of curling and a bit of rippling and not a super crisp image, but pretty great still..
